Some Beef’ers rocked up to the IGFest this weekend gone. Run by our mates at the Persvasive Media studio, IGFest is all about great games played in the streets, its like re-discovering all the fun you used to have playing the best games when you where a kid. If you’re like us, working in the creative industry, you will have sat in front of your machine cursing Adobe’s Creative Suite at one point or another. Now don’t get me wrong, it’s a superb bit of kit but we all have our annoyances.

It’s a chance for everyday users of the software to vent their frustration or indeed sing Adobe’s praises. My favourite so far has to be: “Dear Adobe: Could you make Adobe Reader start up slower? I’d like to have enough time to go get a sandwich before I read a one page document.”
Us lot here at Beef hold research with high regard. Playing, imagining, creating and tinkering are essential as far as we are concerned, its what drives our imaginations and keeps us at the top of our craft. So we are chuffed to have won a grant from the Technology Strategy Board to conduct research into one of our in house projects.
